My top five reasons for choosing chiropractic and wellness care

A young family with 2 children give their thumbs up

I’ve been going to a wellness doctor and spinal specialist for years. I feel healthy, happy and inspired to share what I’ve discovered. I thought I’d kick off with my top five reasons for maintaining regular visits to my wellness doctor.

  1. No painkillers required. In my first visit, I received chiropractic adjustments that reduced my sciatica and made movement so much easier from day one.
  2. My wellness doctor isn’t guessing what I need from a list of symptoms. He took an Xray to see what’s really going on in my body – using technology to make my treatment accurate and efficient from the very first visit. Isn’t that what advances in technology should be about? Yet, my GP  ever chats and prescribes pain killers. There’s an article about that here.
  3. I get personalised treatment that is specific to me and my needs. It’s not about the system or what the NHS can afford. From that very first Xray to see what shape my spine is in, through to testing my body chemistry and allergies – the subsequent advice is shaped around my body, my life, my personal targets for wellness, my nutrition and my exercise programme.
  4. A wellness centre is a much pleasanter place to be than my doctors waiting room. Because I’m taking proactive steps to stay well, I hardly ever need to wait among sick people at my GPs surgery. It’s another factor towards my ability to stay well.
  5. It’s inspiring to be around healthy, energetic people. I keep my exercise on plan by working with the centre’s personal trainer, who has actually co-ordinated my plan with my specific needs for a strong core and a personal preference for running (I’m not a gym bunny). But that’s not all – I even nip in to the clinic to book a massage every months for just £15 – it’s a treat and a stress-buster all in one.

Those are my top five reasons.

But there are more. Christian Farthing at BodyWell Group has a great testimonial page which outlines the results he’s achieved with children, adults and seniors. I recommend you take a look and see what a wellness doctor and spinal specialist could do for you.
